Camping Adventure in Himalayas
Chakrata is a cantonment town situated in district Dehradun in the state of Uttarakhand – INDIA. It is a cantonment of the only ethnic Tibetan unit of the Indian Army. The town appears to be the crown of mountains at the height of 7000 to 7250 feet in the Himalayas. Known as Jaunsar Bawar the region is the home of Jaunsar tribe of northern India. If you are interested in exploring the cultural side of India you are surely going to get amazed when you see their customs and way of celebrating the festivals such as the month of Magh which is celebrated in mid of January.
